For this first clock, I got inspired by a vending machine! You know how you usually put money into a machine and snacks come out? I wanted to take that idea and flip it into a clock. So instead of food, you get to select any country you want from the screen, and then it prints out a little receipt that shows you the exact time in that country.
My second clock was inspired by a slot machine. I've always loved how the spinning animations on slot machines work and look. I wanted to try recreating that spinning feel for a clock! One cool thing I learned how to code while making this was getting it to automatically detect where the user is from and show their actual time zone. When I work on this project more later on, I really want to refine the animation so it feels even closer to a real slot machine.
The third one was honestly just something super random and fun! I had this idea of making an animation where an egg cracks open, and the yolk inside actually tells you the time. It’s completely silly and definitely not the most practical way to check what time it is, but I just thought it was a really cool idea to try out.
